NETZSCH
was founded by Thomas Netzsch in Selb, Germany. The present Chairman,
Thomas Netzsch is the great grandson of the Founder. The first
products were pump wagons for extinguishing fires and agricultural
machines.

and production of special machines for the ceramics industry,
as a result of the establishment of the first porcelain factories
in the Selb area.

1939
|
Start
of World War II, NETZSCH had 200 employees in Asch. Grinding
systems were produced to be added to the already existing program
of ceramic machines. |
1950-1960
|
Development of analytical instruments for testing mineral raw
materials. New applications for the preparatory-treatment machine
in the ceramic industry - The Filter Press.

Production
of the Mohno pumps (NEMO® Pumps) begins. |
1956
|
NETZSCH
purchased the U.S. license for building Attritors which today are
the PR mills. |

1963
|
The
first continuously working agitator bead mill, the Molinex-program
was patented. |
1969
|
Foundation of NETZSCH Inc. (USA). The first annular chamber mill
with a peg-counter peg-system named the John Mill. |

1974
|
The
Molinex-department of the Gebrüder
NETZSCH Maschinenfabrik became the independently operated division
of NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik GmbH, known today as NETZSCH Grinding
and Dispersion. |
1986
|
NETZSCH purchased the British company, Mastermix, known today as
NETZSCH Mastermix. The production program was enlarged with machines
for the mixing and dispersing technique. |

1991
|
The
circulation mill LMZ was introduced to the general public on the
ACHEMA in Frankfurt. The production of the agitator bead mill and
dissolvers were enlarged. In Selb is one of the largest research
and application laboratories where customers from all over the world
work together with specialists from NFT. |
1995
|
The
Group of NETZSCH Companies is directed by Jürgen Schaefer
and Thomas Netzsch.

NETZSCH
purchased the company CONDUX Maschinenbau in Hanau, known today
as NETZSCH-CONDUX, specializing in dry grinding and plastic recycling.
NETZSCH can now supply equipment for the wet and dry grinding
industry.

The
company WERNER Maschinen-und Anlagenbau in Mannheim was purchased,
incorporating Planetary mixers and kneaders into the mixing and
dispersing division. |

Dedication
of the New Technical Center at NETZSCH Incorporated, USA.
