FINE CUTTING GRANULATOR PRIMARILY FOR CELLULOSE PROCESSING

February, 2002 - NETZSCH-CONDUX®, a proven leader in the size reduction of powders, now manufactures a Fine Cutting Granulator. The CS 500/1000 Z series, with a rapid cutting sequence, is used primarily for size reduction of cellulose and can be employed for any material that can be reduced by cutting.

This mill features sixteen rows of sectional rotor knives and up to nine bed knives. These knives operate at high speeds, performing up to 144,000 cuts per minute. Another essential feature of the NETZSCH-CONDUX® Fine Granulator Mill is its open rotor design. The open rotor design results in less restricted cooling airflow through the mill; and together with the rapid cutting sequence, achieves high throughput rates. High quality fine powders, including most temperature-sensitive materials, can therefore be easily processed in this machine.

The Fine Cutting Granulator is ideal for processing both cellulose and film, improving flow properties and increasing the bulk density. This mill can also be used to process plastic chips, natural and synthetic fibers, foam and rubber.
