HIGH PRECISION DOSING WITH NEMO^® MINI METERING PUMPS

EXTON, PA, March, 2000  -The smallest possible amounts of highly concentrated and high viscous products have to be exactly metered in chemical, pharmaceutical or food processes. The same applies for wastewater plants, pulp an paper industries and especially for precise metering jobs in laboratories or the medical sector.

For these special applications, NETZSCH is now presenting this NEMO^® Mini Metering Pump system which offers pulsation-free delivery with a dosing accuracy of ±1%. Pump capacity is directly depending on the rotor speed, therefore optimum adaptability to different products possible. Mini Pumps are available in modular design offering four rotor/stator element sizes. According to their identical installation dimensions, these elements can be interchanged easily without altering the overall pump dimension.

Discharge from an open-ended location can be prevented by reversing the pump rotation at the end of the cycle. Because Mini Pumps do not need additional valve system, the metering of a large variety of high viscous and solids containing products is possible. Mini Pump capacities are up to 130 GPH and pressure ranges up to 510 PSI.

The NEMO^® Mini Pump system with slight alterations is also available for CIP and SIP processes in food or pharmaceutical applications
