NETZSCH PRODUCES NEW NKM MILL

EXTON, PA, December 2000  - The new NETZSCH NKM 20 Agitator Bead Mill is now being manufactured exclusively for the production of offset ink.  This mill follows the proven principles of one of NETZSCH-Feinmahltechnik's most successful designs, the John Mill.  This mill offers a distinct advantage with UV Cure inks because of its precise temperature control.  The NKM mill's first tests with UV and sheet fed inks went extremely well, convincing designers at NETZSCH of the mill's grinding efficiency.  Features of this machine include an annular chamber mill, vertical grinding chamber arrangement, a peg/counter-peg grinding system, and cooled agitator shaft and grinding chamber. 

The NKM mill was designed to meet the demand for better sound insulation and easy accessibility.  These goals were achieved by creating adjustable side walls.  When the NKM mill's side walls are closed, a sound insulated housing is created.  Easy maintenance is possible when the side walls are opened.  The NKM 20 offers many additional features and benefits including:
