The heart of the system is the all new NETZSCH NKM Agitator Bead Mill. This brochure highlights key features of the mill, engineering principles, dimensional drawings, general output capacities and materials of construction.

The NETZSCH NKM Agitator Bead Mill is a wet grinding system used exclusively for processing high viscosity and temperature sensitive products such as UV offset, sheet fed offset, heatset, screen printing inks and many others. This mill follows the proven principles of one of NETZSCH Grinding's most successful designs - the John Mill. The NKM offers a distinct advantage over the competition because of its precise temperature control. Additional features of this machine include an annular chamber arrangement, conical gap grinding zone, a peg/counter-peg grinding system, and cooled agitator shaft and grinding chamber.

The NKM mill was designed to meet the demands for better sound insulation and easy accessibility. These goals were achieved by adjustable sliding doors that when closed, create a sound insulated cabinet. Opening the doors allows full access to all machine components for easy maintenance.
