NEW GENERATION OVERHEAD FILTER PRESSES AVAILABLE FROM NETZSCH

EXTON, PA, July 2000  -  The Filtration Division of NETZSCH Incorporated introduces an all new generation of Overhead Filter Presses.  Designed for long life, low maintenance, and simplicity of operation, this new generation overhead press allows free access to the plate pack, as well as controlled tracking for optimum alignment.  Unique to this new generation is its overhead rotating bearing assembly for self alignment.  These presses also feature plate shifters outside of the potential spill areas and optional automatic cloth washers.  In corrosive environments, stainless steel cladding can be added for increased protection.

NETZSCH overhead presses are manufactured in sizes including 1000 x 1000; 1200 x 1200; 1500 x 1500; 1500 x 2000; and 2000 x 2000 meters.  Operating pressure up to 450 psi is achieved with the overhead design.

All NETZSCH filter presses are highly efficient devices, designed to separate solids from liquids, producing a dry cake and clear filtrate using a combination of feed pressure and special filter plates and cloths.  NETZSCH filtration systems are used in every major industry, including municipal and industrial waste treatment, chemicals, mining, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and food and beverage processing.
