NEW GENTLE PERFORMANCE WINE MASH PUMP BY NEMO^®

EXTON, PA, AUGUST, 2001 - The NEMO^® Pump Division of NETZSCH Incorporated provides superior quality and versatility with its new MET Series Mash Pump. This pump is specifically designed for the wine industry. All component parts are made of 304 stainless steel. The NEMO^® Mash progressing cavity pump guarantees exceptional performance and gentle product handling as well as a long service life.

Despite the remarkably high throughput rates, the material being pumped (grape clusters, fruit mash etc.) is delivered carefully by a slow moving auger through the Mash Pump. To avoid any possible contamination, the motor is completely enclosed. By reversing the pump rotation, the versatile NEMO^® Mash Pump can also be used for applications that do not have a positive suction. Two sizes of this pump are available with capacities up to 25 tons per hour. Additional options include a dry running cut-off switch and level trip-switch, both increasing safety and ease of operation.
