EXTON, PA, JANUARY, 2003 — Engineered to provide exact scale-up results to production-sized mills, the Wet Grinding & Dispersion Division of NETZSCH Incorporated manufacturers the industry’s most flexible laboratory machine, the NETZSCH Labstar^®. Interchangeable agitator systems allow the NETZSCH Labstar^® to grind a wide variety of materials.

This mill is convertible between the proven NETZSCH TriNex™ and ZETA™ agitator systems. Using TriNex™ disks, discrete pass milling is possible. The ZETA™ system converts the Labstar^® into a peg agitation system for circulation milling.

The NETZSCH Labstar^® is capable of processing batch sizes from 1 liter to over 1 gallon and operates in both horizontal and vertical positions. The Labstar^® is also engineered for CIP processes, making batch changes and clean-up fast and easy. A variable speed drive through frequency inverter and optional PLC controls are available. This easy to operate, compact machine is designed specifically for R & D laboratories and pilot plants.
